Summary


For buyers:

- Loopa is software only; it does not process payments, handle shipping, or act as a marketplace.

- Payments, shipping, refunds, and disputes are directly between buyer and seller.

- You receive transactional emails only (order received, paid, shipped).

- Your data is shared only with the seller for order fulfilment.

- Items processed via Loopa Assist appear on a grey background (#fafafaf) and follow separate rules.

For sellers:

- You are solely responsible for content uploaded. Ensure you own or have rights to all items and images.

- Payments, shipping, and taxes are your responsibility; Loopa is not liable.

- Loopa may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend accounts for violations.

- Full data export is available within 5 business days on request.

- Loopa Assist is optional, invoiced separately, and all seller responsibilities apply.



Terms of Service


About Loopa

1. Software Purpose

- Loopa is a tool for sellers to create an online catalogue and automate order-related workflows.

- It is not a marketplace, does not process payments, and does not handle shipping or fulfilment.

2. Seller Features

- Sellers can create a profile with:

- Email and password login

- Profile picture

- Instagram link

- Shipping details (used to calculate order totals)

- WhatsApp link (generated from phone number)

- Payment link (any provider; e.g., PayPal, Stripe, Monzo, Revolut – Loopa is not affiliated with any on those)

- Sellers can upload item images, descriptions, prices, and list items for sale.

3. Buyer Interaction

- Buyers can view catalogues and submit non-binding order requests

- Loopa generates automated transactional emails: order received, order paid, order shipped.

- Buyer data (name, email, phone, Instagram, shipping address, postcode) is shared only with the seller for fulfilment purposes.

4. Automated Workflows

- Loopa automates notifications and emails based on seller and buyer input.

- Loopa calculates total order amounts (item price + shipping) but does not collect or process payments.

5. Third-Party Integrations

- Instagram: used to display seller profile links.

- WhatsApp: used to generate direct chat links for buyers.

- Payment links: seller-supplied URLs; Loopa does not verify or process payments.

- Loopa relies on loops.so to send automated emails.

6. Loopa Assist (Optional Service)

- Loopa may optionally act as an intermediary in fulfilment or wardrobe clearouts under a separate agreement.

- Loopa Assist items are displayed in grey (#fafafaf) and are treated items from a separate seller posting items on behalf of supplier.

- Loopa Assist handles reporting, invoicing, and order processing as agreed with the supplier.


1. Buyers


1. Transactions & Responsibility

- Buyers submit booking requests directly to sellers. Loopa is not a party to any sale.

- Loopa does not process payments, handle shipping, or mediate disputes.

- Issues with payment, shipping, refunds, or product quality are handled directly with the seller.

- Loopa may provide assistance via support@loopa.link, but has no liability.

2. Emails & Notifications

- Loopa sends automated transactional emails only: order received, paid, shipped.

- Loopa does not send marketing emails unless separately opted-in.

3. Data Sharing & Privacy

- Buyer data is shared only with the relevant seller for order fulfilment.

- Loopa acts as a data processor. All use of buyer data by sellers must be lawful and limited to order fulfilment.

4. Warranties & Disclaimers

- Software is provided “as-is”.

- Loopa disclaims all warranties regarding product quality, delivery, reliability, or authenticity.

- Loopa is not liable for downtime, errors, or issues with third-party services (Instagram, WhatsApp, payment links).

5. Loopa Assist (Optional Service)

- Items processed via Loopa Assist are grey and clearly marked.

- Loopa Assist is optional and subject to separate terms and invoicing.

- Questions regarding Loopa Assist go to assist@loopa.link.

- Loopa Assist items are handled as if Loopa is the seller, and buyer inquiries should follow the Assist contact process.

2. Sellers


1. Content Responsibility

- Sellers are solely responsible for all uploaded content.

- Sellers confirm they own or have rights to all items and images.

- Sellers may only list items allowed by law, including National Post regulations.

- Illegal or prohibited items may be deleted, and the seller notified.

2. Copyright & Content Removal

- Loopa may remove content or listings for copyright or legal complaints.

- Sellers will be notified via email about removal or deletion.

- Sellers may appeal removal, and Loopa will cooperate with mitigation if possible.

3. Payments, Shipping & Taxes

- Sellers provide their own payment links

- Loopa does not process payments and is not responsible for payment failures.

- Shipping and fulfilment are handled entirely by the seller.

- Sellers are responsible for all taxes and legal obligations arising from their sales.

4. Account Suspension & Warning System

- Loopa may issue a formal warning for violations of terms.

- If not resolved, Loopa may delete affected listings.

- Repeated violations may lead to temporary suspension.

- Full data export is available upon request (within 5 business days) if suspension occurs.

- Loopa reserves the right to terminate accounts for fraudulent activity or repeated violations.

5. Data Processing & Privacy

- Loopa is a data processor.

- Seller use of buyer data must be lawful and limited to order fulfilment.

- Marketing or other unauthorized use of buyer data is prohibited.

6. Loopa Assist (Optional Service)

- Loopa Assist is optional and billed separately.

- Items processed by Assist are handled as if Loopa is the seller.

- Sellers receive monthly reports and invoices for Assist services.

- All seller responsibilities apply for items processed via Assist.

- Support via assist@loopa.link.

7. Liability & Disclaimers

- Loopa provides software free of charge.

- Loopa is not liable for any damages, losses, disputes, or errors, including payments, shipping, taxes, or third-party service errors.

- Forwarded only to the seller for order fulfilment.

- Third-party services access data only for platform operation.

4. Retention & Security

- Data retained until account deletion or export request.

- Protected with standard technical and procedural safeguards.

5. Your Rights

- Access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data.

- Complaints via support@loopa.link.

6. Cookies

- Google Analytics used for platform operation and improvement.
